Post 8: English Language Challenges

My experience learning English at University has been very grateful and positive, I like the methodology of the classes. Also, I think that using blogs to gave opinions about different themes expand our perspectives and vocabulary, is very useful. Learning English is very important now that is the Global Language, speak it can open you new doors and bring you different experiences, so having classes of English, for me, means a lot, because I can understand different cultures, expand my knowledge and communicate with more people!

Now talking about Chile, just a few persons are bilingual and can speak English in a medium level, but, why? I think that the language is not well valued, and the policies around English here in Chile are less than other countries, I do not like that, because I think that in the future speaking English is going to be somthing necessary. The main purpose of speak English is to communicate with others, specially now that is the 'language of the world'.

Moving on to my experience learning English, I think that I need to improve some aspects of grammar and pronuntiation, because sometimes is kind of difficult for me to explain my ideas, but I always do my best. Maybe I can improve it by talking more with my classmates or friends, because I usually do not use the language outside of the class, so that can help me to develop better my skills.
