Post 7: Improving the learning experience

In this semester the english classes consisted in have one class talking and practicing our speaking and the other one, writing; a very useful method to learn the language. I mean, we know a lot of english but we have learned more, talking about trivial and controversial topics.

It has been great to know what others thinks about different things, because in another classes I do not speak with most of my classmates –considering that we are a lot- so we do not exchange opinions. We have the chance to say what we think, open the debate. It is a great way to know about each other. Also, we can thank to the technology, because even when we are writing, we interact with each other though making comments.

Another great thing about the themes is the variety, because what happened to me is that I knew exactly what I wanted to say –in spanish, of course- and then I realized that I do not know a word and then I had to ask. I have noticed that happen to most of us, so in that way we learned a lot of new vocabulary.

I would like to say that it is second time that I have English and this semester I had a better experience, I learned so much more and it has not been boring at all. It just has been difficult to have this schedule because I am very tired at 7 pm, for the long days having classes, but at least it was worth it. Maybe that is what I would recommend to the direction;change the schedule. My suggestion for the teacher is that I think that we should listen some things, because the English pronunciation differs in every country –as Spanish and probably every language- and that would makes us have another vision and a better understanding.
